Domestic Violence

According to the California Family Code, abuse is:

  1. Intentionally or recklessly causing or attempting to cause bodily injury to another person;
  2. Sexual assault;
  3. Placing another person in reasonable apprehension of imminent serious bodily injury.

Abuse is not limited to the actual infliction of physical harm — it can also be repeated attempts or harassment.

Whether you’re seeking a restraining order, or defending yourself against one, we take these matters very seriously. Uncovering the facts and protecting your safety are our top priorities.
